9700 pro

Need some thoughts on this. I am looking at an ati radeon 9700 pro, you can get an OEM for $215 which is not much more than the 9600XT... the question is what exactly will be different between this card and a "retail" radeon 9700 pro? the cards both appear to be "built by ati" is there just a difference in the included software?

warranty and maybe the look of the card.... sapphires look identical to the built by ati

9700 pro is much better than the 9600 xt even though its older. no companies actually give any software... sapphire gives the redline tweak thing but nothing that great and i cant seem to download it off the site anmore cause i need an updated version. i jus use omega drivers and rage 3d tweak done deal.

thanks for that input... but maybe i mislead you on that... what i am asking is... are there any differences between an ati radeon 9700 pro retail, and a 9700 pro oem?

the 9600xt retail come with cupon for half life 2 and also the entire half life collection in a pack.
$50 game + a $39 software pack

some retail box stuff come with packaged games... it all depends on brand
retail also has a full 3 year warrenty oem has only 1 year

after the cost of free software I paid about $39 for my 9600xt

9700 pro is a better idea and performer though ...
