any diff??

VisionTek Xtasy 9800XT 256MB DDR AGP8X with TV-Out & DVI Video Card
or
ATI Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR AGP8X with TV & DVI Video Card

is there any performance difference between the 2?oc capabilities etc, there is a place with the visiontech for 200 $ less than ati.

i don't think visiontek are on ati's hardware supported list.

http://www.ati.com/developer/hardwarepartners.html

visiontek is probably powered by ati and may be based on the reference card by ati.so will be a few differences(maybe subtle)
but also may use slower ram than the ati reference cards.so less overclocking for it.

were the ati one is built buy and could be of better quality & more stable.and uses faster ram modules so should overclock better.

anyhow thats what i think.

i would say you can not beat the actual maker themselves 'ati'.

but i don't know what your budget is to spend on the card so that is your choice at the end, just offering some advice.

if you want a decent o/c i would not scrimp on the difference.

same for me my 9800pro is powercolor and there not on ati's supported list, but it came down to it were the only 9800pro i could afford but i have no complaints as it gives me decent enough performance.but i don't overclock.
