crash!!need help

i was having trouble with my 9800128pro.purple bars, dots, etc.I was able to clear this by taking card out and this would work for a couple days, then come back.Card was new so i returned it tonight, came home with new one, made mistake(i think ) by putting new card in(same card)without uninstalling drivers. So i boot up with new card, major screen coruption,i uninstalled everything, restarted, used driver cleaner/cab,took card out of tower.Put card in restsrted, installed new omegas, restart and then while booting my moniter flashes and power light on moniter is flashing usually on steady. So i cant get it to boot.go into safe mode uninstall drivers restart this time it boots but still bad display, run DC,then reinstall3.10 restart and still the same thing, runs for a minute then crashes to the moniter light flashing again????????????????????????????????????????????P lease help,is this a bad card, this is going to look awful bad going in again tomorrow morning especially after they tried to tell me i may have damaged first card by in adequetjy in stalling it because it is a very tricky thing to do and requires great skill of their bonehead employees,Future shop in canada!

System Specs

Describing your system in detail might help. Like for instance of what brand and capacity is the powersupply?

Tried the card in another rig? Just from what I'm hearing if you've got the thing installed correctly physically you shouldn't have those kind of problems unless you've got damage elsewhere like a bad AGP connection or you don't have the secondary power connected.
