Big Grin GOt my bro the 9600SE and OC'd it!!!

He is running a AMD 2600+ at 2.1ghz 512 PC2100 with a ATI Radeon 9600SE i got him for his B-day today.
i OC'd it to 400/250 after i put a pig CPU fan on the factory heatsink.
In Aquamark Stock - 16,031 with 4.8mil triangles/sec
at 400/250 - 19,789 with 5,957,147 tri/sec

I say thats pretty sweet i think and a descent score for the SE.
If i push the ram a lil farther u think it would help at all or can i push the Core farther???
It was a fan that came off a AMD 1.1ghz its the official AMD fan so its blowing pretty good. Well give me your thoughts comments thanks have a happy new year.

your particular GPU is unique, as are all GPU's and CPU's. All overclock differently. Some have chips that will show artifacts on a 1mhz overclock while others can get a 100mhz OC out of theres. Just luck of the draw. Getting good cooling can help raise the limit by 0%-20%.

acctually, I'm doubting that more and more....

All P4Cs can hit 3.6GHz
All bartons can run at 3200+ speeds on stock voltage
all BH5 ram does at least 220MHz@2-2-2
all r350 chips do at least 430MHz
all PIIIs (coppermine, not tuly) hit the wall at about 1GHz
all voodoo 5s did 183MHz, and most bugged out right after that

I could go on and on
