acuaully a 9600 pro/xt will out musle a 9800 se (4 pixel pipelines, lower clocks)
time for some enlightenment
"The 9800SE does not come cheap considering the performance obtained. You can get a 9600 Pro, which will perform better for less than the cost of the 9800SE"
http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/r..._9800SE_1.html
i did some reserch the 9800se really really suxors
blocuse it's beat by a 9600 pro
and a 4200ti betas a 9600xt in 2001se by 1,000 pints @1024x768 with no aa/af
the market is really confusng right now there is alot of older chear cards the whoop the new cards
they hope you get confused and pay more for less .....
when u should be getting more whoile paying less
it's all a big monkey f**k
ex. a 9500 pro can whoop all three of the mentined cards

Well it doens't matter if a Ti 4200 can beat anything in 3dmark2001. Do not jujdge anything on those benchmarks. Use real world gaming results to base your decision.

with aa and af mabe the other cards would shine through but card markers are trying to shaft us buy makeing things verry confusion and making on card thet should be faster, faster ram faster gpu but then them muck with the bard desighn and texture units .. it looks faster but in life its slower makes no sence
beta them in real games to 3dmarks are easyier to rember then the fps of every single game of 100 diffrent cards

but did you read the one i posted?
9600 pro beats 9800se in 3dmark2003/2001se ut2003, gunmetal, code creatures, auqamark 3, x2 the threat... every test hey threw at thwen the 9600 pro came out better
that 9800se in that review is clocked at 380/340 thats pro speed
a 9800se is 325/250 thats a 17%/73% over defult
and the even in your review link the 9800se@ 380/340 is beat by the xt that goes for 154 shipped
thats @ abt. $25 less the the 9800se
take a look on price watch

I've compared and contrasted a list of reviews from sharky xtreme to techspot and I'm finding myself leaning toward the 9600PRO.
