Monitor Power Saving mode during POST

Hi there,

I just purchased a 9800XT (ASUS 9800 XT/TVD) and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. (I upgraded from an ASUS V9950 Ultra)

When I turn on my computer, the Windows XP Professional screen comes up with the blue progress bar. After a few seconds, my monitor goes into power saving mode... the green power LED goes yellow. (Sort of like what happens when you unplug your monitor from the video card). After a few more seconds, my Windows XP welcome screen comes up and I can log in.

It's more of an annoyance than a problem. The card is just awesome! Just wanted to know if there was a fix for this.

ViRuS2k will become famous soon enough
System Specs

there is no fix known to fix this problem... its becuse the Asus does not stick to ATI refrence design... there for it has about a 50/50% chance of being incompatible with motherboards.
