Monitor Power Saving mode during POST
Hi there,
I just purchased a 9800XT (ASUS 9800 XT/TVD) and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. (I upgraded from an ASUS V9950 Ultra) When I turn on my computer, the Windows XP Professional screen comes up with the blue progress bar. After a few seconds, my monitor goes into power saving mode... the green power LED goes yellow. (Sort of like what happens when you unplug your monitor from the video card). After a few more seconds, my Windows XP welcome screen comes up and I can log in. It's more of an annoyance than a problem. The card is just awesome! Just wanted to know if there was a fix for this. |

there is no fix known to fix this problem... its becuse the Asus does not stick to ATI refrence design... there for it has about a 50/50% chance of being incompatible with motherboards.
