9800xt sapphire vs ati

My 9500pro died last week, right after instaling omegas 3.8.

My local retailer has the Sapphire 9800xt right now but not the ATI version thy are sold out and on back order. The price is the same for both cards.
Should I buy the Sapphire or hold out for the ATI

sapphire are good manufactures of ati cards and are supported by ati itself.can't go wrong with the sapphire in my opinion.

this a list of all the certified makers.

Well what I've heard is that Sapphire uses a different brand of memory on the 9800's, at least on the non-pro's they didn't use the high quality samsungs, which most of the other manufactorers did use, since the samsungs where better when you are oc'ing, but if you aren't doing that, then there isn't a bad supported by ati card.

i can't say for the 9800xt as i only have a 9600pro by sapphire and that overclocks quite well.

given time you will know more from the others here.
