Real serious problems w/ Sapphire 9600 pro 128

I was running a Geforce 3 ti 200. I get the sapphire 9600 pro and plug it in. Boot up. Then I install Catalyst 3.6. Now, the screen just turns black whenever I open a new window, right click something on the desktop, etc. Basically, if I do anything to alter what is being displayed on the screen, it turns black for a few seconds, then comes back. This happens over and over. Plz help:

300 W PSU
1 Gig PC2100 DDR
Windows XP

well for one get a better PSU....try that first , then if it doesnt correct it ....sometimes if not enough volts itll act wierd.... rma the card
