Hercules AIW9800se->AIW9800PRO, is it possible?

The hercules AIW 9800SE i intend to buy has 380/680 and 128 megs on a 256 bit memory controller.
The question is, can it be softmodded to be a 9800PRO? Has anyone succeeded at this?
What about Connect3d's AIW9800SE? Does that card also have full 256 bit DDR?
I'm looking to buy the herc and see if i can't softmod the additional 4 rendering pipelines. If i get artifacts, perhaps lowering the clocks a wee bit might help... Anyway, any advice is welcome.

System Specs

AFAIK, 9800SE cards have chips which couldn't work with 8 pipelines. So, if you get a card which won't work, then lowering the clock wouldn't help.

It's like gambling... when buying, you can get a card which will work as 9800, but you can also get one which won't work...

Hi I modded my Hercules 9800SE AIW with the softmod.
So it will work

Well i've looked around and i still haven't seen any reports that it can't be done and the one i'm getting does have the 256bit memory so i ordered it. I'll get it next week. Excellent. Thanks for the comments.
