I wend to display properties... settings: advanced" adapter and then where it said chip type it said "Radeon 9800"... why is that?

great, you have succesfully installed omega hacked drivers, at least it doesnt show 9700 as many people are complaining  |

Grats... lol IT would not let me install the hacked or regular Omega Drivers.... told me I did not have a compatable card to install the drivers...lol. I had to install regular old cat 3.6 drivers....

It did that for me when I went from my BB-ATI 9800PRO - Hercules 9800PRO. To fix this you have to install regular CAT 3.6(NOT the control panel) then install the Omega Drivers over the CAT3.6. |
