how to determine ram NS rating?

i just got a Radeon 9800 Non-Pro ... this is the information that was on the ram chips ...

SAMSUNG 322
K4D263238E - GC33
WVC192FF KOREA

how do i determine if this ram is, say 3.3ns, or different? also, what are the best utils to use to overclock this card and determine if its stable or not?

System Specs

Look at the last numbers in GC33 . . . that means 3.3ns
For overclocking, I like Rivatuner

1000/3.3 = 303MHz ... that is the max theoretical speed that ram can attain.

It is ... follow the math...

1000/5 = 200

1000/4 = 250

1000/3.3 = 303

1000/3 = 333

1000/2.8 = 357

1000/2.5 = 400

1000/2.2 = 454

1000/2.0 = 500

really simple math

here is the formulas:

1000/ x = s this formula will give the SDR speed

(1000/ x)*2 = s this formula will give you DDR speeds

x is the nanosecond rating of the memory chip.
s is the maximum theoretical operating speed of the memory chip.

Hope that helps you out a bit.

memmory of a r9700 non pro

I have a radeon 9700 non pro.
and this is my memory code

infineon

hyb25d128323c-3.3

so it is 3.3ns but i thought r9700 non pro had 3.6ns.
and i can't get my memory higher than 290.
why is that?
if you have any idea, please post it

you probably can't get your memory higher than 290 because of cooling... and yes, it's 3.3 ns
