Radeon 9000 and 8500 Specs?

Hi there!

I have a problem at home. We have two PCs. One (mine) with an ATI All In Wonder 8500 DV and one (my father's) with an ATI All In Wonder 9000 Pro. The PC of my dad crashes and makes a reboot when he opens the TV application. Not everytime but often enough. All other progs are working fine and stable. Now we had changed graphicscards and everthing is working fine. God knows...

anyway...

Now I am thinking about keeping the Radeon 9000 Pro and leave the 8500 to my dad. But, I am a gamer, my father isn't... So can anyone be so kind and tell me what the difference between these two graphics chips are? Is the Radeon 9000 really so bad compared to the 8500 in gaming?

thx
Chris
