ATI Radeon 9600 (non-pro)

Hello,

A friend gave me yesterday a genuine ATI Radeon 9600 (not a PRO but he it was free) so I replace my old 8500LE. Now questions time

1) I would like to know if there are some bios update and PC bios recommended settings, or some tweaks to increase performances ?

2) Another thing, I uninstalled my old driver and installed the new ones but it I have a little display issue. For exemple if I run 3DMark 2003, every second (or so) there is a "jerk", is there something that I can do ?

Slide the troubleshooting slider down by one and see if the jerkyness goes away. That was a problem with older drivers, but they apparently didn't fix it for the rv350 chip.

pity it were non pro.i have just got myself the pro when you consider the non pro @325/400 speeds compared to pro @ 400/600 but is what i have seen & trying myself is a good o/cer but for nothing who's complaining.when i did'nt cost anything.enjoy the card m8.
