which one should i buy ?? plz help

which card should i buy ??

the following cards fit into my budget

geforce mx 440 agp 8x 128 mb
ati radeon 85oo , 92oo

can i play new games comfortably with geforce mx 400 agp 8x 128mb ??

i just want all new games to work without crashes
medium graphic details and resolution (1280 x 768) will do for me ...

if nvidia or ati then which config should i choose like ram , agp capacity etc coz itz damn confusing ...

listing your system spec's would be very helpful. If we know what kind of computer you are running, it makes things alot easier.....

The 8500 would be the best. You never want a gf4MX. I don't know much about the r9200, but logic would dictate that last years high end card would beat this years low end card.

r9200 = r9000 with agp 8x added.

Go for the 8500.

I agree 8500 is a much superior card, although id save up a little more and get the 9600/pro (if you have the option)......

Go for the 8500 or the 9600 if you can possibly squeeze out a few more dollars.

8500LE is slower than the 8500

AFAIK neither supports AGP x8, just AGP x4
Both support PS 1.4 (DirectX 8.1) but not PS 2.0 (DirectX 9)
Card memory depends on the game. If you play UT2003 or games with lots of texture usage then go for the 128 meg card, otherwise save the pennies and get a 64meg card.
