Differences between companies

I just got my Radeon 9500 PRO, not Atlantis though

. I never actually saw a benchmark betweeen the two, so I hope the Built by ATI one is fairly similar. I was wondering if there reallly was much performance differences between the 2? I hope I didnt get that much worse of a deal getting one built by ati.

This also goes a lot for Nvidia cards, where there are many different manufacturers, the cards arent actually that dissimilar are they?

A few weeks ago i bought a 9500 Pro and the dealer said it was a Saphire card.
OK, i took it home. But something keeped me distrusting because it came in a simple
white box (but including all the cables). I checked in ATI´s page, it was a FIC card!
This card has the same built as the ATI ones and the same Infineon mem chips.

I made some benchmarks and it makes 3560 3DMark03 points.

And a friend with a "Built by ATI" and more powerfull system makes 3650-3700 points.

So dont worry too much if your card is not "Built by ATI". Just read some reviews too
see which Factory is better.
