ATI Mobility 2600 HD Freezing problem

Hello,

I have a vista laptop witth 3 gb internal memory.
The videocard is a ATI Mobility 2600 HD with 512 mb.
As a video dj we used a xp laptop with a onboard intel 950 card with just 128 mb memory.
With the dj software you can play a video and load a video to another deck.
With the xp laptop no problems, but with the vista laptop I have a freez or a second.
Only while the second player is loading I have that problem.
The Virtualdj software people tells me that the problem is the Directx 10.
But th 2600 hd is made for directx 10.Also tried to install xp and the only problem with xp i got was that the right side of a videoscreen was full of horizontal stripes.

Does anybody know a solution ???

Did you have Vista SP1 installed ?

Yes, sp1 installed but no luck.
