Hi there and Welcome to DriverHeaven!

That option in computers BIOS is for AGP cards only so if you got PCI-E card you don't need to worry about it.

ok. Then you should find the option in your computers BIOS and enable it. The performance is overall so you might see some FPS more in games.

[EDIT] I've moved this thread to more suited part of the forums.

What motherboard are you using and, most specifically, which Chipset does it use?

If it's a VIA chipset, try changing the AGP setting from AGP 8x to AGP 4x and see if that helps. It has to be done in BIOS.

Make sure you get the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for the board if you haven't already done so.

Honestly, it probably won't improve performance enough to be worth it (since you're having trouble enabling it). Lots of people have had problems with fast writes (crashes, etc) so if your card is working fine I'd say leave it off.

Its really a system dependant thing.

If you have more trouble turning it on than you do with it off then you leave it. At BEST the difference would be within margin of error on most benchmarks anyway so there's really no way its going to make a noticeable difference in pure performance (excluding problems setting it up etc)
