Hmmm... Another reason might be your CPU not being able to feed your GPU enough data so thats why you have those problems. Now that is really far-fetched... But I can't figure other reason than that and the one that ATI told you.

I would tend to think the card is faulty, too. That's because it seems that all your games are having some kind of issue.

But, that PSU isn't providing much power, either. You need something with more AMPS on the +12V rail.

Also, increasing system RAM to 2 GBs has been a real deal as of late.

What settings are you attempting to play these games at?

???

Thanks for the replies ppl!,I want 2 play at 1024x768.I took my card to a friends pc.His pc spec are:
Mobo:Msi via chipset
cpu:3 ghz Intel
ram:1gb
Operating sys:Xp Pro sp2
Monitor:Mitshubisi 270SB
Catalyst:7.1
Psu:350w

Funny thing is,is that all the games ran on his system with my card on games like "bioshock",Halo at max settings of the games without a glitch. My monitor I forgot 2 mention is a Samsung Syncmaster 793s.We played Bioshock for almost an hour on his system with no problems.I am gonna try 2 switch monitors, but I dunno if that will be the solution.I looked at his psu & it's amps is lower than mine.We running same Operating systems. He gave me a other mobo:Gigabyte Ga7vav(rev1.2),mine is rev1.1 to test, but I still got the glitches in games.Any suggestions guys? His cpu is intel, could that be it,or driver?I am stumped!!

well what Intel CPU you friend has?? Pentium 4 HT, Celeron or the newer Core 2 Duo??
Since you have that old Athlon 2800+ in use it's don't have the raw calculation power to keep up with that 2600Pro card. Now when I said that I strongly recommend you to consider upgrading your system to up-to-date. Like Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU and Asrock's 4CoreDual-SATA2 mobo and DDR2 mem, that board does support normal DDR memory but I strongly recommend you to get some DDR2-667Mhz memory.

Just saying that you put it into your friend's computer and it worked doesn't tell us one thing. What kind of system does your friend have?

I think teme has the right track on this. You really have a very, very old system and are trying to run the newest stuff in it. I think you're beating yourself up and won't have the rewards you're looking for.

Thanks u guys, sorry I took so long, but system was exchanged."temeteus82" u were right. The cpu was the problem. My friends mobo is a Msi PM8M3-V,the cpu is a 3ghz Intel Pentium 4 "Cedar Mill".I saw on the mobo the cpu has a extra power connector.I dont know what the "cedar mill" stands for(celeron, prescot or what?).My luck was in "dyre",cause my friend was willing to trade mobo&cpu with me(wife angry with all my upgrades in past)
So I will wait a year or so & then look were quadcore's and new dev.in graphics are.The only problem I had was that I had a 1gb Apacer ram that was incompattable with my sec.hand Msi mobo, but will get a new one tomorrow(looked on their site, cause pc kept rebooting, stick worked fine on other systems and msi mobo only accepted my 512mb).Got a 5800 score on 3mark2005 without tweaking on 512mb ram,but as I said as of tomorrow I am running at 1.5gb ram.I am playing games again, thanks 2 u ppl 4 great support.I already recommended your website/forum 2 all my friends.I only wished we could get this great support from our manufactures.I am updating my profile 2 my new specs now.C ya soon!

Sorry,2 bug u guys further, but all I could get of the cpu that I have now is that it's Genuine Intel pentium 4"Cedar Mill" with L2 cache at 2mb,It says on "siw" app it has 2 logical processors,64 bits, fsb at 800Mhz.If I understand correct is it a 64 bit processor?(Hell,I couldn't believe my friend was willing 2 trade, cause it seems he is at the losing end).Well he said he is any way upgrading 2 a new rig near April2008 next year, cause he is waiting 4 the release of the new Nvidea card, that beats will beat the Geforce 8800 gtx pro if I understand him correct. Thanks 2 great friends like him & u guys I'm in game heaven again.2 top it off his twin brother gave me a Razor "Mantis-speed" mouse pad,It rocks!
