An odd problem..

Hi there. I know this might have been asked before (I can't find it through search), but I need help.
I have a Dell Inspiron E1705, fairly recent. Recently I had to reformat (Via GHOST), and now all of my drivers are reverted back to the '06 make. I don't know which ones i need, but the most prominent is the ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 I have. I run on a Windows XP platform, with a Media Center. After some searching, I came upon the Catalyst Control program. However, it has informed me my "system is not compatable". This is odd, for I had it installed before the reformat. Can any of you possibly help me? I've run myself into the ground here, and I would very much like to resume playing the games that require my graphics card to be at top performance...An '06 driver just won't do!

You need to install all drivers again, chipset, dx9, sound, graphics, etc.. Your best bet for compatibility on a laptop is to download directly from Dell. In the future when you learn a little more you can start using modified drivers and even mod your own mobile graphics driver.
