??? Which Card works best with my Dell XPS

I am going to buy a new Graphics Card for my first Generation Dell XPS. I have picked three to choose from. What do you guys think would be best?

The only thing keeping me from getting the Diamond Viper is the power requirements. My Dell XPS has a 460 watt power supply and the Diamond Viper system requirements are the following. Is that to close for comfort? And what is an AGP 3.0 slot? Is that the same as an 8x4x slot?

System Requirements to run the Diamond Viper - ATI Radeon X1950PRO 512MB AGP

Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD® Athlon® 64 FX CPU's
CPU running at 2.4 GHz or higher
450-Watt power supply or greater, 30 Amps on 12 volt rail recommended (assumes fully loaded system)
AGP 3.0 Slot.
Super VGA or DVI-I compatible monitor
Microsoft Windows® XP, XP 64, 2000, MCE
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
512MB system RAM minimum
480MB available hard disk space

I've had good luck running previously with a 450W PSU and my X1950 PRO PCIe card. The 30 A on the 12V rail is the key here.

I'd definitely go with the X1950 PROs over that 1600 item you posted.

I've also had good success with Diamond products in the past. I can't vouch for this particular card, though, as I've not had any personal experience with it.

Here's an article about AGP slots:

Good luck!

kris23 has a spectacular aura aboutkris23 has a spectacular aura aboutkris23 has a spectacular aura about
System Specs

i suggest buying a simple cheap 256mb X1950PRO card or the Sapphire X1950GT 256mb card for your system as the Pentium 4 is a real bottleneck, thats why i returned mine

type in X1950GT in newegg.com and there should be an AGP verson for 180 or so

i cant get a link because i think my IP somewhow got banned from newegg....... internet's fine apparently but the site doesnt appear "page cannot be displayed" and my livingroom computer works fine on it!

guess i have to find another place to shop

EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102093

i think thats it, but i cant see it as i cant even go on to the site
