9700 Speeds

Right now I've got the Core @ 340 and memory @ 320. What speeds can this thing handle? I've read
one post where the speed was set at 380core/345memory.
Cooling shouldn't be a problem, I have 2 80mm front intake and 2 80mm rear exhaust fans. I took 2 Volcano9 80mm fans, superglued them together and mounted them to a device bracket. They sit 2 PCI slots below the AGP slot, so the 9700 is nice and cool. The temp probe in the card reads 34c and the case temp usually stays around 70-72f.

The core's on the r9700pros are incredible. I can take mine to 405. My ram can only hit 351, but it's still nice.

Your card can run at 405 with no spoting or any artifacts in 3d2001se high polygon tests and bump maping. or the troll and nature test under 3d2003.

I have A7N8X DX with tons of cooling and a heat pipe on mine and it will go to 385 before i see any spots or any thing strange. Im useing moded Omega drivers and 8.004 bios.

I can run my card at 380/345. All i have is 2 case fans and a slot fan under the card. It does get quite warm but it will run 3dMark01 at those setting with no problem. I can run anything i want with no problems, although some games (Unreal2003) run a bit better when i take the O/Cing down a bit. I think you can squeeze a little extra out of yours. From what i have seen these cards can pretty easliy hit 350 core and 330 memory with no problem. I am just lucky i guess in that my card will do those speeds.
