X1800xt
I am not very graphics card knowledgeable but the new games are now bringing this card to its knees.
A friend of mine said it is sometimes possible to flash a video card and upgrade it. I was wondering if this is possible with this card.
X1800XT- 512 mgb of memory
2.8D Intel processor
4 gig of 400 ram

In ur case its possible. But the bios flash will merely increase clock speed and memory speed and increase voltages and change the fan beaviour.
If it doesn't work out u may end up with a dead card.
U'll end up with a overclocked card.

Flashing the card isn't going to do anything you can't accomplish with a safer software tool.
Like Hackerx said.... it'll likely just overclock it if it changes anything at all.

Uhm, what? Bringing it to it's knees? I don't think so... I mean, unless you have lots of money, it's not really worth upgrading (yet) - if anything I think you should upgrade your processor; Pentium D's kinda suck.

Wouldn't you need to be playing at uber high resolutions to be stressing an X1800XT out?
... if an X1800XT won't play your games well enough then you're just expecting a hell of alot out of your PC...

Yep, an X1800XT is fine. I mean, look at my computer, and I'm not complaining (wait, well, actually I am >_>).
BTW Hex, post in enough threads?
