graphics accelerator not responding

hey i got a problem, ans i was wondering if anyone could help me.

my card is: RADEON X700 pro 256mb

sometimes when i play wow. it comes up with this error, (see picture).
the game freezes for a moment, (15-25 seconds) then it's fine.
ive tried installing updates to the driver and some other stuff but nothing helps.

it's really getting frustrating! !

Did you try just turning off VPU recover?

yes i did, but appantly the VPU recover activates after my pc freezes, reseting the accelerator so i dont have to turn off the power and start my pc up again.
VPU recover dont make it freeze, it unfreezes the graphics a little after.

But perhaps VPU recover is the source of your problems.

Have you tried installing different driver revisions? Have you tried using Driver Cleaner before installing your drivers? Have you checked that your hardware inside is all dusted out properly and the heatsink is seated on properly? Have you checked that the card is firmly in its AGP/PCI-e slot?
