Suggest Video card for Inspiron 8500
I was given a Dell Inspiron 8500 from a friend because the display was not working. I started it up at home a couple times and it was fine. Then the screen became garbled with various things. There is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 card in it(I have determined that the card is bad). Can anyone suggest a card? I am not doing anything to serious on it.

As far as I know it is not possible to change the graphics card on that laptop.
I mean,at best I assume you could get a replacement card for it if it is under warranty. |

Its not a card, its an integrated ASIC I believe.
Only option is total replacement |
