Pissed X1300 annoyances

Ok, my X700 Pro PCI-E is pretty much dead, my computer won't let me go back to onboard graphics, cuz it just reboots when i get to my desktop. So until I can get my X850XT from sapphire, all I have is my Visiontek X1300 512MB, which sux compared to the X850XT and the X700 pro, but it's all I have and at least it won't corrupt Starcraft like my X700. Only the fan on my X1300 pisses me off bcuz instead of being loud, it makes a high pitched sound instead. Is this normal for this piece of shit(excuse the language) or does this card have a problem too? And also will a thermaltake 430W PSU be decent enough for an X850XT, temperature wise I mean?

well i have a 420w generic, unstable psu..... + x800xtpe... sooo tht thermaltake must be ok

& is it a small x1300 fan? sounding like a little nb cooler? or have you ever heard fans failing? if only you can have an rpm reading (or does the x1300 have one)

No, I don't think it is a small fan though it is quite different from any other fan I've seen on an ATI card. And no I haven't heard a failing fan. I don't the think the X1300 has an RPM reader because I can't even control the fan with Omega Drivers or Rivatuner, unlike my X700 pro.
