i have a problem with my new sapphire x1800xt 256mb as i ran any game, the monitor goes "no signal" and sometimes "out of range" this last one is definitely is a reolution/refresh error.The Calalyst control center displays that my monitor has a max refresh rate of 85hz , my lcd is a viewsonic VX924 19'' , and it's refresh rate is always 60hz, i think the problem lays arround there, maybe the drivers are sending to the vga the wrong refresh rate , my initial suspects where pointed at the psu , but first i tried something else: i hooked up my vga cable bundled with my lcd and the vga-dvi apapter ,witch means the signal becomes analog for the monitor, otherwise with the dvi cable the signal is digital, anyway, i played an entire BF2 session without problems!still i'm goin to try with dvi an no extra fans to see what happens, also i opened a ticket at ati to see what they can tell me about this!

I read somehwere something about this but don't remember what or where. I think you should try the options for display monitor/options in the catalyst center and change them to force 60hz or disabled.
