need help upgrading please!
im building a new pc and so far i got a asus a8n sli se mobo,hyper 580w type r modular, 1gb corsair xms 3200,amd64 4000 venice ,artic coller64 pro,now should i go for a 512 mb graphics card like the radeon x1900xt or get a radeonx1800xt 256mb + another 1gb of ram + a soundblaster xfi??
i cant afford to buy the radeonx1900xt plus the ram and the sound card, but if i buy the 256mb radeonx1800xt i can buy another gb of ram and that sound card , i dont know what to do im going nuts!!!!!

I'd go for the 512 MB video card now and do more upgrading later when I had more money. Many game developers are pushing for 512 MB video cards. So, that's what I'd do.

thanks for the reply, i think u`re right all the games that i play really need that extra graphics card memory , specially tomb raider legend with next generation content ,quake 4 ultra quality textures,call of duty 2 ultra textures ,fear high quality textures ,bf2.and ofcourse oblivion

I disagree.
Getting a XFi is a great addition to the gaming pc (at least if it is the Gamer edition), and the extra GB of ram will sure help. I find it strange though that you are not considering getting a 512mb X1800xt and the above. (or part of the above).
