El Kapitano is on a distinguished road

Death of a Sapphire X1900XTX

Whilst having a mammoth FEAR session last night my X1900XTX gave up the ghost. It appears the fan speed was not altering and the ram has been burnt (so says the supplier).

Good thing is I only live 1/2 hour from SCAN and they've swapped it out without any argument.

Is this a common problem?

BTW I was running Omega Cat 6.3's and had ATITool installed.
