Sad Wrong cards for crossfire?

Hi,

I've just bought 2 x ASUS EXTREME AX1900XTX/2DHTV 512MB GDDR3 PCIe, and my ideia was to create a crossfire system obviously.

http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l...25&modelmenu=1

I was planning on building an SLi system with nVidia Cards, but since the store didn't have stock of 7900GTX I went for an ATI solution.

I found it a bit strange that they didn't have a component to connect the cards like in the nVidia solution, but I guessed the chipset would do it. But I had no confirmation anywhere that the system was using both cards to render graphics, so I kept reading.

I went to the ATI page and I got a cold chill when I saw a chart stating that the second card should be a specific crossfire card...

Now... The model I acquired (2 cards) will allow me to do crossfire, or should I replace one of them? I'll be quite pissed of with the store if that is the case...

If I can have crossfire with the ones I have, where do I see that it is enabled?

second card (if we talking about asus cards) needs to be this
http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l...27&modelmenu=1
otherwise you will get no crossfire.
If you got mastercard and normal X1900XT(X) and connect it over dongle then you can enable overdrive under CCC under overdrive

I'm not sure what you mean... Do you mean I should have a crossfire edition card for the second card, but with this "dongle" (whatever that is), I can have crossfire with current cards?
