Optimizing ATI Radeon Xpress 200M

Ok, so the story goes like this........

I juz bought a laptop with quite a low price, and comes with 1.8ghz Turion 64, 1 gb ddr, 80 gb hdd, dvd-rw, and 14.1" lcd (quite nice rite?), BUT the graphics ONLY ATI Radeon Xpress 200M 128mb SHARED..........

I've tried many ways to improve the graphics performance.... but due to my limited knowledge of laptop graphics, i'm also afraid that i may ruin my laptop, i cant do much....

Anyone know how to optimize its performance? btw currently i'm using latest omega driver coz i got some funny problems with the official catalyst, it doesnt recognize my graphics adapter so it wont install.....
