Confused

Hi

I'm looking for a new card to replace my aging X700 pro PCI-x card, I haven't really been keeping up with video cards lately. When i did some research i found a daunting amount of video cards out there. Alot of the reviews are kinda old and not much help.

I'm trying to stay around the $200 range and be able to play newer games, keep up to date with the lattest tech and have it not be obsolite the day after purchase. The X1800 looks pretty strong but i think its getting to be an older card now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you for the reply. I was kinda wondering what nVidia had that was close to the X1800 card, but i was fearing a ATI vs nVidia flame war. I really dont care what i use as long as it can get the job done. I haven't used nVidia in quite awile though.

This actually helped alot
