X1900XTX and Omega drivers question

Okay, this might be a dumb question but here it goes. I love the Omega drivers, but is it true they do not switch the card's clock speeds from 2D mode to 3D mode? I have tried to use the ATI Tray Tools with the driver but I get an error saying my motherboard BIOS info can't be retrieved and to please report to developer about my board. The board is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. Thanks in advance...
