Looking @ AGP Card?
Hi guys
Just would like to know what is the best Sapphire (256) AGP card to go for?
any help would be a great help.
Oh all so need to know where in the UK to get it from.

Strictly technically speaking the X850XTPE is the best 256 meg AGP card available. But is it the best one for your needs? That remains to be seen

I just ordered the 256MB X1600PRO AGP from Newegg for only $129.00 US. Looks like a great upgrade for me from my 9600XT.
Depending on your budget, this may be a good upgrade for you until you can get to PCI-E.

I also purchased the X1600 AGP from newegg for $130,i upgraded from 9600 AIW pro and i am very pleased with this card image quality much better,i use mine for HTPC not that much of a gamer,but all games i do play shows big improvment in IQ and FPS.

With me haveing the latest Drivers ( ATI Radeon 9700 pro) already installed is it ok to just pop in the new card?
or would it be better to install them again when i get the card?

use drivercleaner and install the latest drivers from ati.com (or omegas if you prefer)

Does any one know where the link is for the ATI screensavers are on there site?
I have a few for the 9700 pro but the link i had for them has changed now.
