Direct Monitoring problem... what gives!!

Hello peeps!

I've been using Kx on my audigy2 card with great relief...

Creative doesn't know jack about drivers it seems...
I'm also using Guitar Rig 2 and sometimes Ableton to record some guitar tracks.
I use a DI box on the mic2/line-in2 plug of the card which is mapped to kx's input 9/10.
My problem is I can't get rid of the "dry" signal... whatever I tried I get a mix of both the dry and the processed signal...

The recording level seems to have no effect and if I touch the in's and out's levels I loose everything???

Can somebody help me get around this stupid problem??

mute the mic/line 2 fader in the i/o window

Does it work for you?
If I do that I loose everything, even if I open the source in the recording page?!?
That seemed like the logical thing to do though.
Maybe I need to reinstall?
What do you think...?

in the DSP, draw a direct connection between mic2/line2 and the recl/r points on the epilog, and disconnect mic2/line 2 from the xrouting

It's like magic mate!!!

I had to make sure there was a connection between the prolog and the epilog asio input as well, but then it works!!

Thx for the tips mate, I would have taken forever to find it on my own...
Now I just gotta dig in a little deeper to understand it completly.
