I am not an expert on it, and I do not have a multiple card setup to test, but it seems that most programs force you to use the same driver for both input and output.
i.e.
If you choose kX Asio for input, then the only output devices listed are kX Asio Devices (and vice-versa).
If you could choose seperate input and output drivers, than it might be possible to use kX Asio for input and the Realtek card for ouput, but this does not seem possible with most applications. Without the software option, the only other option is to physically connect the 2 cards together.
As for setting up Guitar Rig for use with kX, there are many threads in this forum about it, so if you do a quick search you should find the info necessary to get it working. The main issues seem to be, to set Guitar Rig to use a 48000 sample rate, and the ASIO Mapping issue (the ASIO mapping issue basically boils down to the fact that the ASIO port numbering *may* not be the same in the host application and kX, and thus you may have to figure out the mapping yourself. (i.e. try differert inputs in the host software until you find the right one(s)). Search the forum for more info about the ASIO mapping issue).
