Yes I had. Also when in Cubase SX Device Setup => VST Multitrack while setting Asio driver to KX asio there is a error: KX ASIO init error: Error initializing secondary KX ASIO Secondary buffer.

have you tried to reset the kx-driver?
go to settings, and try "reset global settings" and then "reset device settings"
is in the kx-logo in the systemtray a red X inside? i had this onetime and resetting made all working again.

Well, X is not red inside, when i reset my device settings I have a error: error initializing secondary Direct Sound buffer. Maybe there is a hardware problem?

what directx version do you use? maybe there are some creative driver-files also in your system loaded. do you have one or two creative soundcards in your pc or do you have one onboard sound, then try to disable the onboard sound in bios.

DirectX - done, onboard - where?, I set up KX on Creative w/out deliting them. It worked last time. Brr... An also i've noticed that Asio does't install with drivers, only with cubase. And in audio setup (green window) and VST multitrack setup KX Asio is not named just KX Asio, it's named like KX ASIO SB0102 5.1 - is it normal?

i think the description for asio can be like yours. but kx is installing a file for asio, kxasio.dll, i think to find in the system32 folder on xp (i´m sitting on a w98se pc at the moment, and here it is in system-folder)
for directx, use the last one 9.0c from MS.
regards,
