cant get asio to work with line ins on audigy platinum

ok so ive been at this for 4 hours.

ive messed with every setting on this thing, turning every output on, turning them all off, going into dsp and trying different combinations of that.

installing, reinstalling:

reinstalled sonar 3.1 thrice.
reinstalled kx drivers 4 times.
used the driver clean up thing the last 2 times on both.

the outputs on asio work fine. its just i cant get sonar to pick up a signal.

im on a pentium for 2.4ghz 640mb ram running sonar 3.1 through an audigy platinum.

have mic going to compressor to mic in/ line 2.

wdm and default works fine, just cant get asio to work. i have no conflicting irqs and all my settings seem right..

im at my wits end. or something. ive never gotten asio to work on this card, so.. WTF??

Did you set your sampling rate to 48000 in the Asio control panel?
Also, make sure all harware settings are set to maximum for record and playback.

I have the same problem with my SBLive 5.1. I made a post yesterday. Maybe we aren't the only ones with this problem. If you solve it, let me know.

ok you have the card model that has ASIO input mapping issues

you need to have a continous signal (ie cd plyer playing into the Line - In)
and you will need to test each input for signal

I'd like to chalk another one up.

I have a live and no matter what I tried I couldn't get ASIO working - in Sonar. Didn't try other programs.

I formatted, reinstalled everything I Could think of. No end to the guides I read or the routing I tried.

Ah well. I'm gonna take my pc out to my drums and try again tonight.

for those with a Live 5.1 this is a different issue
you'll need to test EACH input until you find out that works (asio mapping issue, check the kX website for more details)
