is anyone using kontakt or kompakt synths?

hi!

first i'm a newbie
sinced i had the creative drivers i experienced some troubles with ASIO, not only in kontakt or kompakt, with guitar rig too, cracks and pops, even when i'm recording, i've tried with different latencies and is the same.
i really need help, i'm about to record my demo and this thing is just slowing down my progres

i have an atlhon xp 2600+, 512 DDR, and a SB0240 10k2(audigy 2 platinum)

System Specs

kontakt, intakt, battery, fm7, pro 53, b4 all worked fine on my old athlon 750…

I supose that you have selected kX asio driver in your host app and not directX or multimedia, isn't it?

I sometimes have to rise the latency up to 20 ms. when the song is full of synths and samplers, so I start with 5.33 for 'real time' until any problem appears. My system is an AMD 2600+ too.

Sure that all creative driver stuff is completely removed from the HD?
