ASIO Inputs 1,2 and 3 not working?

Hi yall. I have been experimenting with the kx driver for about a week now, and it really rocks. The primary reason for installing the driver was to add ASIO support, so I can play/record from my analog inputs using realtime effects. I am happy with the results, since I am able to use my sblive with ASIO with no real problems. However, I noticed that when I connect the ac97 to the epilog ASIO inputs, 1,2 and 3 dont seem to work. the inputs appear to be dead within sonar and spinaudio asio fx processor. Of course this is not a problem as of now, but I plan to add a addon card with digital IO. I was thinking that the router settings may be at fault, but they are all set default. Thanks for any help on this question.

Hi!

What says kX-mixer about your card model? If it´s a SB006x or SB010x then there is a hardware issue (not related by kX) with asio-channel mapping. You will find the other inputs on the upper asio-numbers then.

The card is a SB0102.

Thanks for the reply, after testing the asio outputs 1,2 and 3 are still dead. the signal doesnt appear to be mapped to anywhere. When I set those as inputs in sonar they are just dead, and there is no sound at any other asio input (as if they were crossed or something). Anyway im not really concerned about the problem, 6 stereo inputs is all i'll ever need at once. I dont think my CPU would really be able to record more than that anyway without increasing the latency beyond an acceptable amount. Thanks again.

Asio Audigy2.ZS / WamiRack24,96

Asio Audigy2.ZS / WamiRack24,96
Hello,

I'm currently utilizing the 2 above mentionned cards in my p.c. without particular difficulties as far as my music software goe. I however have a problem with Infinity from Sound Quest; if it try to play with some sof-synths i made with this program, i can use the WamRack 24/96 without problems. However the KX(3537)/Audigy 2.ZS audio output(Asio) will have my synths sound distorted.
What could be the reason for that? I took good care to ensure that the sampling rates correspond but still there is distortion ( not level distortion ).

P4 Intel 2.1 ghz
Ram 512

Many thanks!

P.S. In my orther applications i'm able to shift from one card to the other without encoutering this problem.
