can I record w/ mic and line simultainiously?

I use a SB live 5.1 without the livedrive. Can I record with the mic in and line in on the back of the card at the same time into a ASIO host? Or does the AC97 only allow one or the other?

I can only find outout on the prolog these inputs on AC97 L/R (when selected on the AC97 mixer page)

If so what are my alternatives? I show a Line2/Mic2 on the prolog, where is this physically? could I use the cd-rom and aux internal inputs by wiring female jacks to a computer cd-rom audio cable?

Just how many physical inputs can you get out of a live for ASIO multitrack recording?

the hardware does not support multiple ac-97 input recording… you have to use a live drive or build a mod to get extra inputs
