Cant get ASIO to work

Hi! im new to these boards. I discovered Kx drivers recently, and i really love them. : )
I could manage to install the drivers in windows xp, and everything seems to work fine but ASIO drivers.
Im totaly new to asio, just know that they allow to have very little latency ; ), but it seems i didnt install or configure them right, as neither Logic audio 5.5 nor cakewalk sonar 3 recognize them.
In logic audio, i can only select EASI MME or EASI DirectSound, no asio appears in the dropdown box. : (
In sonar, i could select ASIO, but the 'control panel' button did nothing, and it didnt recognize any asio inputs.
the card is listed in Kx info as CT4832, if it can help in any way.
Ive also checked that Hardware acceleration is set to full in multimedia properties.
Sorry if this is a newbie or silly question, i've browsed the help files and documents and i dont know what to do.
Any help is much appreciated : )

PS: Excuse my english!

which version of windows?

Make sure you make the needed changes in:

Control Panel > Sounds & Audio > Audio tab > Sound playback device Advanced > Set speakers to surround or 5.1 > Performance Tab set Hardware Acceleration and Sample Rate conversion to their MAX settings.

This is in the setup guide BTW

Toadly: he has already maximised the h/w acceleration on win xp

Proskrito: Try re-installing the drivers, and checking for IRQ conflicts in the system control panel

thanks for your help! : )
i reinstalled the drivers, and the mixer didnt show most sliders
After some testing and almost going mad, it seemed that there were some problems when using Kx drivers and Norton Antivirus. I disabled norton and everything was right.
Dont know if anybody else has been having problems with kx and norton...

Everything is working great now! thanks guys for your time : )

hmm i have problems with norton full stop… i think it may be due to the kX mixer accessing the soundcard drivers¿ anyway its something to look into
