zEnder is on a distinguished road

annother tip

disabling the network card (onboard / shared IRQ with Soundblaster) also was the biggest asio performance enhancement for me.

but annother thing that did enhance my ASIO performance was
overclocking my pci-bus from 33 to 36 MHz in my System.

On most boards this can be done by simply overclocking the FSB
on my MSI-NEO2 Mainboard e.g. the pci/AGP speed can be set seperately.

but successfully Overclocking the pci bus depends mainly on, which cards are installed.
especially really old cards could cause problems.

I only have two SB Lives and a Radeon installed and everything works just fine.

be careful when o/c'in the PCI bus - soundcards especially can be very sensitive to the clock speed change
