Creative's ASIO and Logic 5

I'm currently running on a P4 2.8, 1GB ram and using the Creative Audigy 2 Platinum. When I tried to use the Creative ASIO driver to record any audio signal via the input of the drive bay in Logic 5.5.1, it records the outputs, eg, it records the clicks of the metronome. I was wondering if I use the kX ASIO driver, could I solve the problem, if so, how? Thanx.

I have not seen Creative's latest software but if it is like their older stuff, there is a slider in the Creative Mixer called WHAT U HEAR. This should be unselected.

However, I would still recommend the KX drivers because of the flexibility and more than that, you can become part of the project, in however small a way, which is not something you will find to any degree with commercial software.

KX is just plain cooler!

System Specs

and setting up kX correctly will work exceptionally with logic (i used logic 5.5.1 when i wrote my getting started guide so if you have a read of that you should find kX reasonably easy to set up
