Asio 16/44.1 - is it possible ?

Hi,
I have a problem in Cub sx2+Live Value+KX . I can't set the Asio 16/44.1 configuration to work with my reccordings .
Am I doing something wrong or that configuration is not possible in cubase?
Thanks for the reply.

I think 44100 only works for playback.

System Specs

16bit 48khz is the only way to record using ASIO drivers, as the internal DSP chip of the card is locked at 48khz, any 44100 content is resampled and then played at 48khz, and to record at 44100 you have to downsample, which when running ASIO is almost impossible due ot latency issues
