KXproject and Steinberg Cubase SX
Hello!
I have a problem. I installed a KXproject program and now Steinberg SX wont test my soundcard correctly. I have no sound in cubase at all. I have unistalled KXproject and reinstalled my sound card but it wont work. Also steinberg sx complain a fault when i open it "No SPlid DLL was found in the waterfall procedure" I guess that is a plugin or something, I dont know? I have asio multimedia driver in asio setup and I have tried a duplex too.. it won't work.. And in the my mouse moves slower in cubase than in any other program =) Help me!!!!!! Shyron |

1. Are you using the latest driver's version? 2. You don't need to let Cubase test your soundcard. That's only needed if you're using ASIO MULTIMEDIA drivers. You want to use KX ASIO drivers. To select them, open Cubase Sx, go into DEVICES menu, DEVICES SETUP option, click on VST MULTITRACK and choose KX ASIO, configuring the frequency to 48000hz and setting the latency to 20ms or less. It'll work fine after that...

I try again to install it huh!
Yes I did have the latest driver and I choose that kx asio driver but nothing happens...I didnt do that frequence thing.
Now I have unistalled kcproject and removed kx asio driver (dll) with regcleaner and manually. Because windows found kcdriver all the time but still cubase didnt work, and all my sounds was muted. I will install this kcproject again but I'm afraid that sounds will mute again and cubase won't work.. I will keep in touch. Thanks Shyron |

In the start of kx install it says....
Kx Audio Driver requires Windows 98 second edition or later Windows 98 first edition (Gold) is not supported If you are using windows millenium, click cancel otherwise click Ok to quit I have Windows millenium. I think this is the problem I guess??? eh... Shyron

In the ASIO Multimedia Setup, under advanced Options, make sure that the Sound Card settings are set to 16bit only. This worked fine for me.
