??? Nuendo 2.0.1 kx asio issue

I'm running Nuendo 2.0.1 with the latest version of kx drivers, on a Pentium III 1 ghz, 1Gig RAM, and an SB Live! 5.1.
For a while it runs ok, but randomly (or when i try to change latency from device setup, kx ASIO control panel,) Nuendo says that the output latency is 3245607,34 ms or something like that!!!! And the program crashes, or the transport stops working and theres no audio output. Does anybody knows if the problemis because of kx drivers, nuendo or cpu power??? Any information is welcome

Thanks
