??? Routing MIDI channels to ASIO inputs

Hi all,

After reading and reading 5 times the help file and some posts, I´ve managed to make some routings for Cubase SX succesfully. I connected LineIn to asio0 and it worked. I also tried to route some VST Instruments and it worked. The good thing about this is that I can have a couple of MIDI tracks in cubase that output to different VST Instruments which I can record individually to audio tracks. The result is that you can recor in different audio tracks all your midi tracks in one playback and not doing the tedious one recording per MIDI track. So far so good, I tested it and it worked.

Now the difficult challenge that I couldn´t solve yet!! I want to do the same but for plain MIDI tracks with plain MIDI data (no vst instruments, plain midi).

You see, I have 8 MIDI tracks. Each track corresponds to a different Drum sound. And I don´t want to playback eight times the same song for each drum sound to be recorded.

So, my question is: how can I route each MIDI track (each channel) to an ASIO input???? I did it with vst instruments but, had no luck with plain midi tracks. I know that the kxRouter has Synth1 and Synth2 with the MIDI channels to map to the FXBuss BUT I couldn´t make it work!

Does anyone tried this? Any ideas? Screenshots showing these kind of setup of the DSP?

Thanks a lot!
E.
