hari-bhari is on a distinguished road

getting started with ASIO

Is there a guide out there to get started with ASIO. I got an ASIO plugin for winamp, but I don't know how to enable ASIO with the kx drivers or what I need to route for the DSP. Whenever I try to play a file in winamp using the asio plugin it doesn't do anything...

Maddogg6 will become famous soon enough

Configure Winamp ASIO plugin to RESAMPLE to 48Khz.

The setting 'Shift Output Channels' - when set to '0' out puts audio via FXBuss 0/1; if set to '2' will output on FXBuss 2/3 etc..

The ASIO plugin I used wha from here:
WINAMP5” ASIO‡Š›ƒ—ƒ‚‚ƒ (dll version) - ŠŸち‚ƒ‚“のMIDI/Audio‚ƒ•ƒˆ

I tested the SSE2 version, in winamp V5.35 and worked.

edit: tho I get some pops/crackles, I may try the non-SSE2 version, as changing buffers in plugin, or kX ASIO control panel doesnt seem to have any effect... this could be from from a poor ASIO plugin - as ASIO works fine in Sonar /edit.
