Sad ASIO and Sonar 2.2 XL

HELP !!!

I am using Sonar 2.2 XL with your KX drivers on ASIO.

I have got the three inputs I want to use (analogue in, SPDIF in and CD in) connected to tje last three ASIO inputs which works mainly OK (although Sonar ets confused which one is which when I stry and record all of them at once - if Analogue In is on 10/11 and I 'Arm that track, it's OK, when I then arm the next track assigned to 12/13 (SPDIF in), the SPDIF signal appears on the first track and the analogue signal 'jumps' down to the new track !!!!) - I'm not overly worried about this - at least I can record 6 channel audio with almost no latency.

The problem is I can't play anything back !!

How do I get the Audio outs (via ASIO) out of mu soundcard (just using 'normal' line out). When I switch to Sound Forge (which doesn't use ASIO) I get audio played back all OK.

I assume it's a problem in the DSP and/or Routing pages, but I have read the help files over and over again and still can't make any sense from them. I have found out about assigning the ASIO outputs to various 'channels' on the FX bus on sends A,B,C and D - but where do I control the levels for these ??

Please can somebody help me, as this is very frustrating

Thanks...

Asio

Hello, mayby your track is 44.1kHz and ASIO can only play 48kHz it is hardwarelocked in the DSP. you can change the samplerate in most softwares, then you will hear the sond.

hmm, try this

When using ASIO driver, select 'kx asio out 04' as your sonar output.

Kx ASIO 0/1 = Front & Rear outputs
Kx ASIO 4/5 = Front outputs
Kx ASIO 6/7 = Rear outputs
Kx ASIO 8/9 = Centre/Sub output

goto sonar >options>audio>driver
make sure 04,06,and 08 outputs are highlighted.

cya.
