rolleyes Missing ASIO

Help ... nube here ... I just downloaded the newest version and now I can't load up the ASIO module. I am using Cakewalks Home Studio, SBLive and W2k and would like to use the ASIO that was working before. Thank you! Oh ... and I did remove everything and reinstalled with clean boot system

So you had 3537 working before and then installed 3538L and it is not working-is that correct?

Yes, that's correct.

Also, when I reinstall, two things are happening ...
1. soundblaster is trying to install with W2k/Creative driver. I am escaping out of these, and can't seem to find the INF's that may be causing this (did search, nothing)

2. kX is showing two identical drivers to choose from, and repeats installation of the selected driver twice (again, search only shows one INF .. same in hardware information within "show hidden" option on.

You did a search *.Inf from the C drive-then opened them in Notepad to see if they were Creative Labs INF files?

rolleyes Update -

Sorry for the apparent "ignore", but I have a really good excuse

First the holidays started to roll in, and then "bang", we got hit with the December 14th windstorm in the northwest! 1.5 mill people were without power, and obviously without internet.
I am just getting things back up and running, and have made the ASIO work. Not sure what I did, but I did have to restore some system files after the power surged on and off during the storm (thought the computer was off, but it was on standby ... doh!)

Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate it. Now I go into my learning curve for the controls and DSP ... yeah, baby!

Congratulations, have fun. We just got the only weather that we have had here in Minnesota this winter. 1/8" of snow on the ground now on Dec. 31. I was enjoying the brown winter.
